Enveloped within the stone walls of a private compound, the villa is accessed via a secure timber gateway. Guests are greeted by an intimate environment comprising of adjacent pavilions for living and sleeping. A chic swimming pool and deck area serves as the central focal point of the villa. Indigenous stone and wood combined with a natural décor and a collection of exotic artefacts enhance the warm ambience of this restful setting.
Contemporary Living
Architecturally the villa unites contemporary design with traditional and exposed structural elements and an open living area. The living area includes a fully-equipped kitchen with black granite counter tops and branded appliances in gleaming
stainless steel. A timber dining table with high-backed rattan
chairs encourage guests to take advantage of Villa Akara’s culinary services, with gourmet meals available for preparation in-house by a personal chef. Relaxing time spent in the company of friends and loved ones is made possible by an oversized modular sofa and a scattering of cushions.
Restful Moments
The master bedroom on the second floor is a sanctuary of calm with a canopied double bed. The adjacent second, third and fourth bedroom suites on the first floor are equally as comfortable with a soothing décor and carefully chosen pieces of local art. All bedrooms feature a luxury en suite bathroom in cream marble with separate tub and rain shower recess for spa-style bathing indulgence.
Outdoor Delights
The swimming pool is ideal for laps or just to cool off and beat the heat of the day. It is bordered by native palms and a water wall that flows at a gentle pace to inspire the senses. A timber sun deck at the shallow end of the pool features reclining lounge chairs set up daily by our staff, for reading, a lazy afternoon nap or sunbathing.
