Ultimate Privacy
The villa is encompassed within a garden compound with its own entrance to ensure ultimate privacy. It is composed of two separate pavilions connected by a covered walkway in a style that is a modern interpretation of a Balinese home. Both pavilions show a sense of proportion in relation to the need for a balance between rest and recreation. Architecturally Akara Villa embodies tropical elegance and harmonises completely with its surroundings through the use of natural materials such as wood and stone.
Open Living
The open living environment is an integrated space that lies beneath an elevated timber rooftop to encourage natural light and healthy air circulation. The combination of stone statues,
highly polished wood furnishings and earthy shades captures the warmth and hospitality of Bali and its people. A fully equipped kitchen is tucked neatly into a far corner without detracting from the aesthetic look of the dining and lounge area. It is a setting that lends itself to long romantic dinners with flickering candles and a bottle of chilled wine.
Intimate Bedroom
The master bedroom is an intimate retreat with its opulent canopied bed fitted with crisp linen and downy pillows. The suite also features a study alcove with laptop access to catch up with important news from home, as well as a corner seat overlooking the garden to quietly sit and read. An indulging marble inlaid bathroom with a generous sized tub and separate rain shower ensures that every bathing ritual is one of pleasure.
Tropical Garden
The garden area reinforces the concept of outdoor living and makes the most of Bali’s perpetually fine weather conditions. A sizable swimming pool is enveloped by miniature palms, exotic greenery and frangipani trees that blossom all the year round. Water flows from a cleverly designed feature wall and enhances the ambiences of this serene setting. A timber deck with a pair of reclining chairs provides an inviting space to relax and soak up the sun.
